Partner and Co-Executive Producer Jon May grew up in N.E. Pennsylvania, received his degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, before leaving snow country behind for Texas horse country. His passion for horses began at age 10, when hanging around a riding stable resulted in being allowed to muck stalls, and it has followed him ever since. After an executive career in the wireless industry, he cantered off in a new direction, producing award winning TV programming on horse breeds and related equine activities, shot from the perspective of the horse person. An avid carriage driver and competitor in CDE’s and pleasure driving competitions, his efforts have resulted in 6 Morgan Horse World Championships, 2 Reserve World Championships and 11 Grand National Titles in singles and pairs driving. Located north of Dallas, the HorseFlicks studio overlooks green pastures graced by 7 Morgan horses, and one special Gypsy Vanner named “Hollywood”.
